Every job is different. It's like asking a builder how much is a house. TV commercials have base statutory costs of around $300 before you start, other media, not so. But you set the budget.

Actors are the bricks upon whom your campaign structure is built. Unless your project is simply "Product Show n Tell" you will need convincing believable characters. Just because you acted a play in high school, does not make you one.

For low budget productions, you certainly can. Our post production department can make literally any video or photo look better. But this approach should only ever be to save costs.

Yes you own copyright on the finished master(s) but not on the originating raw footage.
